RFX Pro Footrests – Worth the Hype (and the Price)?

We’ll be honest—when we first looked at the RFX Pro Footrests, we were a bit skeptical. The price tag seemed steep for a set of pegs, and we wondered if we were just paying for fancy machining and anodising. But after running them for a few rides, we’ve got to admit—we were wrong. These things are legit.

Built Like a Tank (But Lighter)

From the moment you unbox them, it’s clear these aren’t your average footrests. They’re 100% CNC machined from top-grade aluminium, and you can feel the quality just holding them in your hand. Every edge is sharp, clean, and purposeful. Once mounted, they sit solid and don’t budge an inch—even after some seriously hard landings.

55mm Platform

One of the first things we noticed on the bike was the super wide 55mm platform. It gives you a really planted, stable feel—especially when standing through ruts or riding rough terrain. Your boots don’t slide around, and you can feel more connection to the bike overall.

Screw-In Stainless Steel Teeth

Grip is unreal. The replaceable stainless steel teeth really dig in, even when things get wet or muddy. You don’t have to worry about your feet slipping off mid-corner or over a jump—these pegs bite hard and keep you locked in.

Mud? What Mud?

We were impressed by the flow-through mud-clearing design. Even in sticky conditions, the pegs don’t clog up. You stay in control, and you don’t have to spend half the ride kicking mud off your boots.

Colour to Match

Okay, we’ll admit—we also like when parts look as good as they perform. The anodised finish looks sharp, and there are colours to match most major brands. A small touch, but it makes a difference.

Final Verdict: Worth Every Penny?

Yeah, they’re a bit more expensive than standard pegs—but after putting them through their paces, we’re sold. Between the grip, the feel, and the durability, the RFX Pro Footrests are more than worth the price tag. It’s a small upgrade that makes a big difference every time you ride.

If you’ve been on the fence like we were, trust us—just buy a set and feel the diffrernce.
